A Very Veggie Thanksgiving Food Blogger Style

Everyone looks forward to Thanksgiving for many reasons.  For most of us its the time spent with family and of course, a table over-flowing with all of our favorite turkey day favorites.  This year, I had another Thanksgiving feast to look forward to after the family festivities... A food blogger gathering at Cate's house last Saturday night.

Cate was nice enough to host me along with Joanne and Sarah.  What a wonderful group of food loving people to break bread with on such an occasion!  Since we all figured we would have our fill of turkey by the time Saturday arrived, it was decided that we'd focus on the best part of the big meal... the veggie sides and dessert!

Here are some photo highlights of what we enjoyed during our feast.

Of course, I couldn't resist getting a shot of what happens when food bloggers gather to eat a meal together.

I hope you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving meal with your family and friends!

Just a quick "programming" note:  Coming soon will be an Eat. Live. Be. Reboot series that the 4 of us have decided we need, so we will be sharing the ways we find inspiration and motivation every Wednesday - starting December 7th.  If you are interested in joining us, please head over to the Eat. Live. Be. Facebook page and leave a comment.

I am also planning to share some of my favorite gift ideas over the coming weeks... some will be cooking related, others will be great ideas for elementary age boys and even some books that I've enjoyed recently.

Lots of great things coming, so be sure to check back often!

I am not a fan of turkey and this would have been fabulous. . .except for ribs and turkey the rest of our food was no meat :)

Haha, have to laugh. I spy ... Mystic's head in the first picture, and TWO salt shakers in one of the table shots. Um, yeah, on a bit of a salt kick apparently. Go ELB!
This is such a nice idea. I like sides much more than turkey too.
